I have been lucky to have the opportunities of working with many bright young geoscientists from across the globe.

Daniel Brien: Dan worked with me as a Research Assistant for a period of 3 months (June-August 2022) and now is a Master student at Trinity College Dublin. He assisted with the optical microscopy, SEM and LA-ICP-MS lab work on the Silvermines Zn-Pb ore samples and Galmoy mine tailings samples for the critical metals in Ireland project, which was funded by Geological Survey Ireland.
Dan did a fantastic job!!

Malena Cazorla Martínez: Malena started her Ph.D research with me and Prof. Murray Hitzman on 1 Sept. 2022, exploring the formation of sediment-hosted cobalt deposits in the Central Africa. Together, we try to unravel the geological and geochemical controls on high-grade cobalt zones in sediment-hosted deposits, which primarily source cobalt for the energy transition!
